2 Easy Steps

Step 1: Sign up for a free intro class. This really is the only way to see for yourself just what CrossFit training is all about.

Step 2: Decide afterwards which of the 3 training options listed below would best suit your situation, it may depend on your availability to train and/or your previous exposure to exercise.

Following your initial session, we can discuss which of these options below would best suit you.

Foundations Classes

These beginner classes are for anyone who may have identified as requiring some extra coaching before jumping into the regular group classes or may be returning to training after some time off.

The goal of the Foundations class is to teach you how to use the barbell properly. We have a reputation of being very strict on form so these classes will give you a basic knowledge then in the regular classes we spend time with you to sharpen it all up!

We also go through some of the most used movements found in CrossFit workouts. We do all this so when you reach the regular classes, we can introduce intensity gradually so your body can adapt safely.

Regular Morning/Evening Classes

Our primary aim is to provide thorough training to all our members. Some people are fast learners, they understand how their bodies move and can just jump straight in on these classes. Those who have had some experience with lifting or have been exposed to CrossFit for at least 6 months should be able to skip the Foundations and enter the Regular classes.

If this is you, then we will ask you to go through a short assessment, just to see what you know. Safety is paramount here at CrossFit CW, so please don't be offended if we ask to see your Clean and Jerk or Snatch before we say yes. And if you have no idea what i just said ... then its the Foundations for you!

how-to-join

One on One

We recommend these one on one training sessions if you can't make the times set for the Foundations classes or if you simply prefer individual coaching.

Your trainer will programme workouts specific to your current level of fitness and progress you at the appropriate pace.  Following these sessions you may choose to continue with private training or decide to join the group classes.
